Iso-Crows Scarecrow Winners
A great selection of Isolation scarecrows made the task of selecting winners a difficult one for the Kyneton Daffodil & Arts Festival Committee. All entries were judged from photos on the Festival’s facebook pages and website.
From the best individual or family entry, the largest group of excellent entries the winner was Mirabel and her Chicken in Donnithorne Street and runner up was Bernie from the vegie patch in Trio Road.
The best community entry was judged to be Dingle Dangle from the Good Start Early Learning Centre in Mair Street and runner up was Agnes from Windarring in Baylton Street.
A truly scarey business winner was Nurse Cathy the Covid Fighter at the Grist Artisan Bakery in Piper Street and runner up was Covid Marty at the Bendigo Bank in Mollison Street.
The best on the Iso Crows theme was judged to be Home Schoolies and runner up was the Zoom dressed Barry from Accounts both from Yaldwyn Street East.
A special award of a voucher donated by Irene of Ellenis Day Spa was awarded to Academic Ayva, perched on a hedge in Yaldwyn Street East.
Festival Secretary Marg Dearricott thanked all who contributed their creativity in this year of COVID-19 isolation.
“We look forward to having a COVID safe 2021 when we can enjoy all of the art, participation and fun activities of the coming year’s 48th Kyneton Daffodil & Arts Festival next September” she said.
