Scarecrows will again invade Kyneton during the Daffodil & Arts Festival!
Everyone is invited to join in the fun and make a Scarecrow for display during this year’s Festival. The 2017 Daffodil & Arts Festival theme, “Magic in the Ranges” is sure to inspire you to get working on your entry.
Make sure you pick up an entry form and register your Scarecrow to be part of this year’s competition.
There are prizes to be won for various categories including ‘Best Scarecrow,’ and ‘Best relating to the theme.’ (see entry form for more details)
You can display your Scarecrow in your garden or bring it the Mechanics Reserve and display it there on Sat Sept 2nd between 9.30 and 3.30pm.
Take a photograph of your Scarecrow for our Facebook page and send it to us by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
Don’t know where to start?
‘Scarecrow’ ingredients can be sourced from your own cupboards, local op shops and stock and feed businesses.
A Scarecrow Making Workshop will be held at The Old Auction House on Saturday, August 26th from 2 – 4 pm. There is a fee of $12.00 for the workshop, which covers materials and competition entry.
To register for the workshop contact: 54222282 before Friday 25th August.
