call for entries for the
2010 “Spirit of Kyneton” Photography Prize and Exhibition of Photographs
at
GALLERY 40, 40 Mollison St, Kyneton.
The three winning entries will each receive a prize of $200 with a $100 prize for the most popular work by public votes. In 2010 two of the prizes will be awarded to entries which include “People at Work” or “People Relaxing” in Kyneton and district. The third prize will be awarded to a general portrayal of “Spirit of Kyneton & District”. The works will be judged prior to the opening day by professional artists and photographers. The Exhibition will officially open on Saturday, 4th September, the first Saturday of the Kyneton Daffodil & Arts Festival, and remain till Saturday, 25th September. The most popular work will be announced at the conclusion of the exhibition.

Entry forms must be submitted to Kyneton Daffodil & Arts Festival, P.O Box 59, Kyneton 3444 by 5pm on Friday, 20 August. Can also be submitted online to daffodil@netcon.net.au
Works must arrive at GALLERY 40, 40 Mollison St, Kyneton, between 10am and 5pm on Friday, 27th or Saturday, 28th August and be signed in.
Exhibitors take responsibility for gaining appropriate permission of people appearing in their entries.
The winners of the prizes will be announced at the official opening of the “Spirit of Kyneton” Photography Exhibition to be held on Saturday, 4th September between 4pm and 6pm at GALLERY 40.
All or selected works will be exhibited during the Festival for the exhibition period at GALLERY 40.
Displayed works to be collected after the closure of the exhibition - from 10am till 4pm on Sunday, 26th September unless by prior arrangement.
There are no entry fees. 25% commission to GALLERY 40 on all sales.

SATURDAY, 4h September: Exhibition Opening -announcement of winners.
SUNDAY, 26 September 11.00pm to 4.00pm. Collecting work from the exhibition.
