'Fun and Entertainment for the whole Family'
Organisers are expecting this year’s Parade and Fair to be the biggest and best ever.
Floats, bands, school and kinder groups, dogs, dancers, bands, cars, a coach with the King and Queen and other favourites will appear and as in other year’s people from the surrounding district will be represented.
Last year the Newham Drummers delighted all as did the hula hoopers and entries from Malmsbury and Woodend.
There will be dancing and music in the parade and floats and classic vehicles will again feature.
The Central Victorian Lion Dancers, Fu Wa Dancers, stiltwalkers, circus performers, Hesket Skippers, members of Inka Marka Music of the Andes, a belly dancer, Newham Drummers and bands will all perform at the post parade Fair radiating from the Mollison-High Street intersection.
Fair in High Street will have all of the favourite rides but will also feature a Super-slide and rides will start at 11.45am stopping for the Parade at 12.30pm and continuing on after the Parade concludes.
In the Mechanics Reserve the Combined Churches will conduct a Family Fair with activities and more fun for kids. They will share the space with Darryl and his large animal nursery as their usual area is under renovation. Daffodils and potted daffodils will be on sale.
Food and drinks are available for fairgoers on the street and in Mollison Street near the other activities from both stalls and shops.
