The Kyneton Daffodil Art Prize

The Kyneton Daffodil Art Prize is awarded annually to the best new work of art featuring the daffodil. Entries are displayed at the Kyneton Mechanics Institute for the duration of the Festival. The prize was first offered in 2007 with the aim of  showcasing the artists of the region, while celebrating the daffodil - the star of the Festival. It has continued to attract a very high calibre of work each year, in a variety of mediums. In 2015, an additional prize for the category of watercolour painting was offered in memory of Esther Rose, a two time prize winner. Entries in The Daffodil Art Prize are eligible for the following prizes:

  • The Kyneton Daffodil Art Prize: $500
  • Esther Rose Memorial Watercolour Prize: $200
