Ferret Racing Saturday September 3rd
At the Mechanics reserve from 10:30 AM
The Daffodil & Arts Ferret racing brings ferret owners and spectators from near and far to the morning’s racing.

"Local ferrets can hold their own" says last years winner Charlie Firth with his ferret Tom.
Eric Scoble's calling of the races is an entertainment in itself.
Members of the Ferret Association of Victoria will bring their animals to race alongside ferrets from the local region.
“We hope that anyone, young or old, who has ferrets will bring them along to compete.”
“Members of the Ferret Association of Victoria will add their wide range of prized ferrets to swell the field for the Kyneton Daffodil and Arts Challenge Shield sponsored by Kyneton Plumbing Services” Eric said.
The heat winners will race in the final.
Geoff and Betty Organ have sponsored the trophy for the Best Ferret and prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for further competitions sponsored by R and J Woodman.
Should the weather be wet the races will be transferred to an indoor venue.
For entries and information ring Eric Scoble of 5422 6454.
The ferret racing along with the scarecrows display and competition, facepainting and busking competition will be part of the Festival’s Sidewalk Shopping Day throughout the shopping precincts of Kyneton.
